Solo Exhibition ¨Paysages Ephémères¨ held by Oliart in Abidjan, Ivory Coast

Olivia De Backker is a well respected art curator based in Abidjan. She hosts exclusive pop-up exhibitions by invitation only at her residence,  creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.

With a focus on African art, she has showcased renowned artists such as Boua, Zinkpé, Tchif, Konate, and many others.

In 2022 she comes accross Arianna´s paintings inspired by the landscapes of Ivory Coast and she offers her a solo exhibiton to showcase AYD unique depiction of the Ivorian beauty. The exhibition "Paysages Ephémères" was met with great enthusiasm from collectors in the Abidjan's art scene.

2020

"Amman Beirut" at MMAG Foundation

The "Amman Beirut" exhibition at the MMAG Foundation was a fundraising exhibition featuring works by one hundred artist from Amman and the region. All the proceeds from the sales were donated to trusted local organizations in Lebanon in order to help with the disaster-relief efforts. Held on August 22, 2020, this event brought together a series of evocative paintings that explored themes of memory, identity, and resilience in the face of adversity. Each piece was a testament to the artists´ deep connection to these cities, capturing their vibrancy, struggles, and the indomitable spirit of their people. The exhibition invited visitors to embark on a visual journey, reflecting on the shared histories and future aspirations of these two iconic Middle Eastern cities. Among the contributions was Arianna's round resin painting titled "Sunrise."

"Stay Home" at Wadi Finan Art

In August 2020, Arianna was part of the "Stay Home" exhibition at Wadi Finan Art Gallery that reflected the unprecedented global experience of isolation and introspection brought on by the pandemic. Through a series of introspective and deeply personal works, the artists explored the themes of solitude, domesticity, and the passage of time within the confines of home. Each painting in the exhibition captured the complex emotions of uncertainty, comfort, and the search for meaning during a time of global upheaval. The "Stay Home" exhibition offered a profound commentary on the universal human experience of living through a pandemic, resonating with viewers who found solace and connection in the shared experience.

"Women International Day" Art Exhibition at Al Manara Hotel, Luxury Collection Marriot, Aqaba. 

On March 6, 2020, Arianna participated in the "Women International Day Art Exhibition" held at the prestigious Al Manara Hotel in Aqaba. This exhibition, organized in celebration of International Women’s Day, brought together a diverse group of female artists who showcased their unique perspectives through various forms of art.  The event was a testament to the vital role of women in the art world and served as a vibrant celebration of their contributions.

Solo Exhibition at Al Manara Hotel, Luxury Collection Marriot Aqaba

On November 11, 2019, Arianna presented her artistic vision in a captivating solo exhibition at the exclusive Al Manara Hotel in Aqaba. This exhibition marked a significant milestone in her career, offering a comprehensive showcase of her evolving style and thematic exploration. Through a collection of curated works, Arianna delved into the heritage and beauty of the unique landscapes of Jordan.  Each piece in the exhibition invited the viewers to reflect into the richness of colors, forms, and textures of the Jordanian nature. The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended and further solidifying Arianna’s reputation .

TVE Españoles por el mundo

In 2019, Arianna was featured on the popular TVE program "Españoles por el Mundo," which showcases the lives and achievements of Spanish expatriates across the globe. Her episode offered viewers a glimpse into her life as an artist, highlighting her journey, inspirations, and the cultural influences that shape her work. The show provided an intimate look at how Arianna’s experiences abroad have fueled her creative process, allowing her to connect with a broader audience and share her story with the world. Her appearance on the program not only celebrated her success but also emphasized the universal language of art that transcends borders.

Dar Al-Anda Art Gallery

In 2018, Arianna was prominently featured at the esteemed Dar Al-Anda Art Gallery, a renowned cultural hub known for showcasing exceptional talents from the region and beyond. Her artwork captivated viewers with its vibrant colors, intricate layers, and textures. Continuously exploring various materials and expressing her profound respect to the heritage and natural beauty of her host country she integrated locally source materials into her creations.

The exhibition at Dar Al-Anda was a pivotal moment in Arianna’s career, expanding her audience and reinforcing her status as an artist.
